Collection — BLOEM

Named after the Dutch word for "flower," BLOEM draws on floral forms to create an open, flowing silhouette — defined by curvature, lightness, and spatial openness. Shaped through an ongoing process of making, testing, and learning directly from the behaviour of wool, BLOEM explores how knitted structure can form at scale. BLOEM becomes a dramatic centrepiece, anchoring large dining spaces while maintaining a soft, airy presence. Designed specifically for life around the dining table, its open form preserves sightlines, allowing conversation to happen. It casts a warm, even glow without blocking — a social light that supports connection, rather than interrupting it. BLOEM continues an exploration of New Zealand strong wool as a high-performance lighting material, using its natural properties to diffuse light and soften acoustics. Crafted from undyed Romney wool grown at Palliser Ridge, a Savory Institute certified-regenerative farm in the Wairarapa region, BLOEM is designed and assembled by hand on Waiheke Island, and made in Aotearoa New Zealand.
