Collection — BLOEM
Named after the Dutch word for “flower,” BLOEM draws on floral forms to create an open, flowing silhouette — defined by curvature, lightness, and spatial openness. Shaped through an ongoing process of making, testing, and learning directly from the behaviour of wool, BLOEM explores how knitted structure can form at scale. The Bloem becomes a dramatic centrepiece, anchoring large dining spaces while maintaining a soft, airy presence. Designed specifically for life around the table, its open form preserves sightlines, allowing conversation to happen. It casts a warm, even glow without blocking — a social light that supports connection, rather than interrupting it. BLOEM continues an exploration of New Zealand strong wool as a high-performance lighting material, using its natural properties to diffuse light and soften acoustics.
