Collection — HIWA
Named after Hiwa-i-te-rangi, the Matariki star associated with aspiration and new beginnings, HIWA features a faceted, star-like geometry shaped by the natural behaviour of knitted wool, with a subtle nod to mid-century silhouettes. At the heart of HIWA is an exploration of New Zealand strong wool as a high-performance lighting material, using its natural properties to soften sound and diffuse light. Crafted from undyed Romney wool grown at Palliser Ridge, a certified-regenerative farm in the Wairarapa region, bringing warmth and texture to architectural spaces. Made from 100% New Zealand strong wool, HIWA reflects a commitment to circular design, natural materials, and local craftsmanship. Designed and assembled by hand on Waiheke Island, and made in Aotearoa New Zealand.
