The Lofty Trio brings together three of our Wool Hoop 25 pendants in a long, sculptural cluster designed for stairwells and tall, open spaces. Suspended at staggered heights, their elongated forms create a playful vertical rhythm - bringing softness, warmth and a gentle glow to the spaces they inhabit.
Knitted from farm-sourced New Zealand wool, each pendant’s honeycomb structure celebrates the natural texture of the fibre, softly diffusing light while helping to absorb sound. Acoustic testing of three Wool Hoop 25 pendants showed measurable sound absorption, adding acoustic softness as well as visual warmth to a space. Wool is also a naturally air-purifying fibre, able to absorb and bind certain airborne pollutants - one of the material’s many inherent qualities that make it so well suited to interiors.
From modern coastal homes to alpine retreats, the Lofty Trio brings greater volume and acoustic softness to tall architectural spaces without feeling visually heavy or hard.
Grown in the Wairarapa. Designed and assembled at our Waiheke Island studio. Made in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Dimensions – 250mm Ø × 750mm high per pendant (set of 3 lights)
Weight – Approx. 0.6kg each
Materials – 100% New Zealand wool, FSC-certified Finnish birch plywood, electroplated steel
Installation – Arrives pre-assembled. Includes black lacquered steel ceiling roses, E27 lamp holders and 2m black cloth-covered cables. Installation by a registered electrician required.
Recommended bulb – E27 8W warm white LED. Optional add-ons – If you’d like to include our 4m cord option or bulbs, select a quantity of three to suit your trio. Positioning – For a balanced composition, place ceiling roses approximately 35–45cm apart (around 41cm is ideal). Final drop lengths are best refined on-site with your electrician once the lights are in hand.
Shipping – Shipping within Auckland is $25 NZD per order, and $45 NZD per order for the rest of New Zealand, with tracked delivery usually taking 1–3 working days from dispatch. Shipping to Australia is $109 NZD per order, with tracked delivery via NZ Post and Australia Post usually taking 5–7 working days from dispatch.
