The Double Wool Hoop 90 is a large-scale statement piece for expansive interiors — foyers, stairwells, hospitality spaces, and architecturally bold homes. Its twin-layer form creates depth and quiet drama, offering warm, diffused light without visual weight.
Knitted from strong, undyed Romney wool grown at Palliser Ridge Farm in the Wairarapa, each layer features a honeycomb structure that softens light and acoustics. Despite its scale, the form feels light and floating, settling comfortably into both contemporary and natural material palettes.
Hand-assembled in our Waiheke studio, the Double Wool Hoop 90 is crafted from 100% certified regenerative New Zealand wool and engineered for longevity. Every component is designed for repairability, circularity, and a close connection to place.

Materials – 100% New Zealand Wool, FSC-certified Birch Plywood, Electroplated Steel, 3D printed plastic end caps.
Installation – Arrives pre-assembled. Includes black lacquered steel ceiling rose, E27 lamp holder, and 2m black cloth-covered cable. Installation by a registered electrician required.
Recommended bulb – E27 lamp/bulb 8W warm white LED.
Packaging – Every light is carefully packaged using materials that reflect our values of circularity and care. Each piece is protected with reusable wool felt made from Palliser Ridge fibre, and boxes are made in Auckland using recyclable and compostable materials. Designed to be reused, repurposed, or returned to the earth.
