Harakeke Gold is a rich, earthy brown with warm gold undertones, reminiscent of the tussock landscapes of rural Otago and a golden sunset glow. Dyed in our island studio, using foraged plants, seasonally and locally on Waiheke Island. Unlike conventional synthetic dye, Harakeke Gold keeps the wool fully biodegradable at end of life. It's colour with provenance, foraged and dyed locally, connected to Aotearoa rather than a standardised global palette.
The Wool Hoop 40 works beautifully across small to medium-sized living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms, and interiors with lower ceilings, offering softness and warmth without dominating the space. Its considered scale makes it ideal as a single pendant or grouped for greater presence.
Designed for warm, textural interiors, from modern coastal homes to alpine retreats, the Wool Hoop 40 explores wool as both volume and atmosphere. Crafted in Harakeke Gold, our plant-dyed colourway, its knitted honeycomb structure softly diffuses light while helping to create interiors that feel quieter, warmer, and more grounded.

Please note: Each piece is dyed using our small-scale plant-dye process with locally sourced harakeke, so subtle variations in tone are natural and part of its character — no two pieces are exactly alike.
Dyed wool fades in harsh UV light. Due to the naturally coloured nature of this product, there will be fading where the product is exposed to light. We regard this as a natural colour evolution of this product.
